As I progress through my high school year, I have demonstrated scholarship by taking a path of constant learning and studying that we take in order to pursue the careers that we take interest in! Putting in a lot of efforts into my work becomes worth all the hard work and it relieves me that I have done something like that. Scholarship is not just about being all school-related educational achievements, but altering the learning action and making it an academic success.
Well the book that has impacted me the most was Beloved by Toni Morrison due to it's heavily contained materials being expressed impressively. Reading more in-depth explicit lives about the slaves by the point of view of Sethe shocked me. The agonizing involvement of going through the life of being a slave whilst trying to save her childrens was truly harsh. Her past based on her early life won't go away too easily as she still tries to move on. With her permanent scars and memories, Sethe just wants to live onto a normal life yet that seems entirely impossible. As for Beloved, her daughter that she murdered for a motherly reason, she comes back just to haunt her which thickens the plot more. This book took a huge impact to me just because it's really based on from what reality was like and even how it's like as of now as well.
The colleges and universities that I want to attend on are either UCSD, San Macros, or any other place that holds a nursery program. I still never gave up on trying to be a dream nurse because I've been inspired by my family members. Due to my heart condition, I still want to be a nurse based on it so I can see whats it's like to be one of those cardio nurses who were there for me.
Scholastically I became a better student in the aspect of my grades and my ethics. I have tried harder now than before and I don't procrastinate as much, lazy I still am but when it comes down to it I try my hardest and do my best to out achieve myself.
